1 - 1: Day One

Isa Guha and Mark Chapman review the best moments from day one in France. Team GB's Josh Tarling was among the favourites in the men's road cycling time-trial, while world diving silver medallists Yasmin Harper and Scarlett Mew Jensen were vying to become Britain's first female Olympic medallists in the sport since 1960. Four of the opening day's 14 titles were decided in the swimming pool, including a women's 400m freestyle clash of the titans as defending champion Ariarne Titmus faced Katie Ledecky and Summer McIntosh. Another global star, Britain's two-time Olympic champion Adam Peaty, sought a place in the 100m breaststroke final, and there's a look ahead to tomorrow's highlights.
