Nigel makes his way to the Bering Sea hoping to see the whales complete the final stretch of their journey, before moving on to take a look at puffins, cormorants, Arctic foxes and fur seals on the Pribilof Islands off Alaska's west coast. He ends his adventure in Barrow where locals celebrate a successful hunting season with a blanket-toss event.
