The series is a comedy-drama series from SHOWTIME that surround with the life of Nancy Botwin who is a suburban widow who earn her living by selling marijuana just to support her family's basic needs. Weeds season 7 episode 1 is entitled as "Bags" and will start with what the last season had left off where Nancy was imprisoned after she admitted the murder of Pilar to save herself and her family. The setting of the first episode is in New York City 3 years after her imprisonment. It shows that Andy, Silas, Shane and Doug - Nancy's family, live their new lives in Copenhagen while her going halfway to her house after she was awarded a parole, she finds out that she doesn't need any witness protection anymore. Aside from Mary-Louise Parker other stars that is featured on the Weed series are Hunter Parrish, Alexander Gould, Justin Kirk and Kevin Nealon.
