Ellen starts with her monologue about how she stays focused while doing the show. She also talks about the Floss, the Starbucks unicorn frappucino and shows some funny pictures and videos in the segment 'Why I don't have kids'. Then she chats with blind teen piano prodigy Matthew Whitaker and after the interview he plays the piano for the audience. Ellen then talks to Salma Hayek who tells her a funny story about her dogs. She also plays the new game 'Danger Word' with members of the audience. Finally Jennifer Hudson performs and Ellen surprises her with her Grammy Award.
