When Jean Steven's husband passes away, she convinces the local funeral home to quietly return his embalmed body so she could keep him close. When her twin sister passes a decade later, Jean does the same, dressing her twin in her favorite housecoat and placing her on the couch in a spare room.  For years, Jean tends lovingly to them both - talking to them, brushing their hair, and finding comfort in their company. When authorities finally uncover her secret, they must decide whether the town's favorite granny is a cold-blooded graverobber, or a woman who simply can't let go.
