Consumer journalist Harry Wallop takes on some of life's luxuries - beauty treatments, fashion, and partying - and sets himself the challenge of looking good, spending a night on the town, and throwing a massive party for his local community - all for absolutely nothing. Full of tips on how to grab remarkable cash-free bargains, the show also profiles some of the most successful freebie finders in Britain, such as bargain-hunter Martha who landed £26,000 of wedding freebies. Inspired by her efforts, Harry tries to throw a party without spending a penny on the venue, booze, food or entertainment. As Harry attempts to get a new wardrobe and a total makeover for free, the programme also features Jenny, who has received over £5000 worth of free beauty treatments by offering up her face to trainees; film fanatic Jamie Lee, who has seen over 100 films for free; and queen of the competitions Jayne, who's clocked up £300,000 worth of prizes in 28 years by entering every competition she sees.
