Min Soo petitions the new king (King Chang) for the reinstatement of Lee In Gyum, but he is astonished when he heard Lee In Gyum's death from Ha Ryun. Lady Min Da Kyunng visits Monk Jeok Ryong to get information about Ha Ryun, and Jeok Ryong asks her why. Meanwhile, Jung Do Jeon went to Lee Sung Gye together with Jo Joon in order to change the land system into "Well-field system". Lee Bang Won faces the spies of Hwasadan on his way back with Jo Joon's research materials.
