1 - 6: Making a Splash

At the beginning of the episode model JOY is out This next assignment goes a direction not yet seen in this competition. The designers will be designing swimsuits that are functional enough to swim in the pool, yet sophisticated enough to wear to a fashion-industry party. When time is up only 5 hours later, work stops and Tim informs the designers of the surprise for this week's challenge: they're on their way to an Elle magazine party where they will have time to schmooze with Richard Johnson -- the New York Post’s "Page Six" columnist. The designers who impresses him most with personality and design will get mentioned in his column and win the challenge. Before the parying can begin though, the models must be convinced to wear some of the designs that they think are too revealing. You're either in, or you're out, who was out this week?
