In this episode we meet three callers who under extreme duress must make critical choices as the lives of strangers, loved-ones and themselves are violently threatened. In San Jose, California, a single mother with a gun must decide whether to face her would-be rapist unarmed or risk being accidentally shot by police rushing to save her. After a lone gunman starts shooting in a local sporting goods store in Macomb, Illinois, the store's manager must choose whether to flee the scene or stay on the line in order to save those around him. On a dark night in rural Oklahoma, a grandmother faces the grim possibility of using deadly force to protect herself from an intruder.
