Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer search for properties in Wales, with one couple who crossed the world to live there and another who have always called it home. Tish and Ramone moved to the country from Cape Town and now they consider it their adopted home. It's Kirstie's job to find them a dream place that's both full of period charm and low maintenance. Phil is with Gemma and Ellis who are Welsh born and bred, but even with their local knowledge they are finding it difficult to get a future family home in Newport.
