The first snowfall prompts Lorelai and Max's first date. Lane is upset with Rory for being distracted with Chilton, and Dean. Rory spends time with her grandparents, and introduces them to frozen pizza. Meanwhile, Luke mocks and refuses to take part in the annual re-enactment of the Battle of Stars Hollow.
