On New Years Eve. The gang are make resolutions: Joey wants to learn the guitar as he had previously lied about it on his resume and asks Phoebe to teach him, Rachel must gossip less about her friends, which she finds increasingly hard when she uncovers a shocking secret about one of the gang, Chandler bets Ross that he can go a week without making fun of anyone, Monica wants to take more pictures of her friends and family, whilst Ross decides to put the past behind him and buys a pair of leather pants for a date, with diasterous consequences.
