At 548 pounds, recently married, 28-year-old Jarvez from Portland, Oregon wants to get his "sexy back." His obesity ruined his dream of becoming a professional football player and now he realizes that, if he doesn't lose the weight, he could lose everything. During the journey, Jarvez experiences many setbacks, but with inspiration from his supportive wife, he stays motivated to achieve a healthy lifestyle with results that lead to a life-changing event. Jarvez has been overweight since childhood, and it was at age 17, when his mother passed away, that his weight spiraled out of control. Over the next year, Jarvez works hard with trainer Chris Powell to hit his goal of losing 50 per cent of his original body weight. In a challenge that Jarvez could only have dreamed of, he gets to experience an NFL workout with his hero, former Green Bay Packer all-time leading rusher Ahman Green.
