The presence of the media and a celebrity guest at HMP Larkhall gives the women a perfect opportunity to make a very public protest about the prison's forthcoming privatisation. Phyl and Bev are transferred to an open prison. Di's plans for pregnancy are a success. Snowball and Richie make a pact to die together but only one of them dies.
