Plot

Pompeii is a 2014 adventure disaster movie that features Kit Harington, Emily Browning, Carrie-Anne Moss, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Jessica Lucas, Jared Harris and Kiefer Sutherland. It follows the life of Milo (Harington), a slave who turned into an invincible gladiator. The film is set in 79 A.D. in the Roman city of Pompeii. As Mount Vesuvius erupts, Milo must fight his way out of the arena in order to save his beloved as the once magnificent Pompeii crumbles around him The film is market as Pompeii in 3D and was directed by Paul W. S. Anderson, the sci-fi movie director behind the Resident Evil movie series, Alien vs. Predator and The Three Musketeers
